STANDARD PROCEDURE - HEAD GASKET SELECTION

1. Measure piston protrusion for all six pistons.
2. Calculate the average piston protrusion. Maximum allowable protrusion is 0.516 - 0.485 mm (0.006 - 0.019 in.). NOTE: There is only one head gasket available for the 6.7L engine.
