B1094-FRONT LEFT SEAT HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN - RHD
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.
- When Monitored:
During heated seat operation.
- Set Condition:
The Heated Seat Module (HSM) detects an open or high voltage condition.
Diagnostic Test
1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, clear all DTC's.
3. Operate the Heated Seat Switch in both positions several times.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display active: B1094-FRONT LEFT SEAT HEATER CONTROL CIRCUIT OPEN?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- The condition that caused this symptom is currently not present. Check for an intermittent condition by inspecting the related wiring harness for chafed, pierced, pinched, and partially broken wires. Also, inspect the related connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Repair as necessary.
- Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
2. (P187) LEFT SEAT HEATER B(+) CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
1. Disconnect the Heated Seat Module harness connector.
NOTE: Check connectors - Clean and repair as necessary.
2. Turn the ignition on.
3. Measure the voltage on the (P187) Left Seat Heater B(+) Driver circuit at the Heated Seat Module harness connector.
Is there voltage above 0.5 volts?
