B1988-RIGHT POWER SLIDING DOOR SWITCH STUCK

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.

- Set Condition:
When the Cluster senses approximately 3.0 volts on the (G23) Sliding Doors Overhead Switch MUX circuit for longer than 10 seconds, this code will set.





Diagnostic Test
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Press the Right Power Sliding Door Switch three times.
3. Check the Switch for damage or anything that could cause it to stay in the stuck position.
4. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes

- Replace the Overhead Console.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals, and correct pin tension.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
