Floor Console - Installation






INSTALLATION

BASE FLOOR CONSOLE





1. Position the console (1) at a slight angle [front (4) slightly higher than the rear].

2. Slide the console (1) rearward into the underneath the Stow N Go second row seat door assembly frame.

3. Align the console until the anchor plug hole is centered on the winch hole.

4. Reinstall the clip (3) first and then while pushing downward on the console with slight pressure, reinstall the cover plug (2).

PREMIUM FLOOR CONSOLE





1. Position the console (1) at a slight angle [rear (4) slightly higher than the front].

2. Slide the console forward into the floor bracket (3).

3. Rotate the rear of the console down (4) until it is resting on the floor bracket (3).

4. Push down on the rear of the console (4) until it is seated in the rear floor bracket.

FULL FLOOR CONSOLE





NOTE: Front seats are to be in full rearward position as described in the removal procedure.

1. Position the floor console through the passenger side door.
2. Insert the front portion of the floor console downward, between the front seats.
3. Rotate the rear portion of the floor console downward, between the front seats.





4. Route the console bezel wiring harness through the top of the floor console.
5. Align and position the floor console (1) to the floorpan bracket (5) and dash.

6. Install the fastener (4) securing the floor console to the floorpan bracket (5). Tighten the fasteners to 10 N-m (89 in-lbs.). Repeat on the opposite side.

7. Install the two fasteners (2) securing the floor console (1) to the instrument panel. Tighten the fasteners securely.

8. Install the pushpin fastener (6) securing the floor console (1) to the instrument panel. Repeat on the opposite side.





9. Rotate the upper console bezel (1) and connect the wiring harnesses (2).





10. Align and position the upper console bezel (1) to the floor console and the instrument panel.

11. Hand tap around the perimeter of the upper console bezel (1) to engage the retaining clips.

12. Connect the negative battery cable.





13. Position both front seats to the full forward position.
14. Install the fastener (3) securing the floor console to the floorpan bracket (5). Tighten the fasteners to 10 N-m (89 in-lbs.). Repeat on the opposite side.
