Seat Back Recliner - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE:
Outboard relining mechanism shown. Inboard mechanism similar.

1. Position the seat belt buckle to the seat cushion frame if servicing the inboard reclining mechanism.

2. Position each reclining mechanism to the seat cushion frame and install the two bolts (1) that secure each reclining mechanism to the frame as required. Tighten the bolts to 55·Nm (40 ft. lbs.).





3. Position the seat back frame to the reclining mechanisms and install the two bolts (1) that secure each side of the seat back frame. Tighten the bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).

4. Install both armrest rotating mechanisms Armrest - Installation.

5. Install the seat back foam and cover Seat Back Cover - Installation.

6. Install the seat cushion side shields Seat Cushion Side Shields - Installation.
