Seat Back Recliner - Removal

REMOVAL






1. Remove the seat cushion side shields Seat Cushion Side Shields - Removal.

2. Remove the seat back cover and foam.

3. Remove both armrest rotating mechanisms Armrest - Removal.

4. Remove the two bolts (1) that secure each side of the seat back frame to the reclining mechanisms and remove the frame.





NOTE:
Outboard relining mechanism shown. Inboard mechanism similar.

5. Remove the two bolts (1) that secure each reclining mechanism to the seat cushion frame and remove the reclining mechanisms as required.

6. Remove the seat belt buckle if servicing the inboard reclining mechanism.
