Driver Door Module (DDM, DMFL/R)
B25AF-2A-DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH-STUCK

- When Monitored:
Continuously whenever the door module is awake.
- Set Condition:
When the Driver Door Lock Switch Mux circuit is out of range for five seconds.
Diagnostic Test
1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. With the scan tool, record and erase the DTCs.
2. Operate the Driver Door Lock Switch several times.
3. Turn the ignition on and wait 30 seconds.
4. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.
Does the scan tool display; B25AF-2A-DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH - STUCK?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test .
2. DOOR LOCK SWITCH

2. Disconnect the Driver Door Lock Switch harness connector.
3. Turn the ignition on.
4. Measure the voltage between the (G161) Driver Door Lock Switch Mux circuit and the (Z912) Ground circuit.
Is the voltage above 4.5 Volts?
Yes
- Replace the Driver Door Lock Switch. Power Lock Switch - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test .
No
- Go To 3
3. (Z912) GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
1.
2. Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, check the (Z912) Ground circuit.
Does the test light illuminate brightly?
Yes
- Go To 4
No
- Repair the open in the (Z912) Ground circuit.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test .
4. (G161) DRIVER DOOR LOCK SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT OPEN
1.
2. Turn the ignition off.
3. Disconnect the Driver Door Module C5 harness connector.
4. Measure the resistance of the (G161) Driver Door Lock Switch Mux circuit between the Door Module C5 harness connector and the Door Lock Switch connector.
Is the resistance below 2.0 Ohms?
Yes
- Go To 5
No
- Repair the open in the (G161) Driver Door Lock Switch Mux circuit.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test .
5. (G161) DRIVER DOOR LOCK SWITCH MUX CIRCUIT SHORTED TO THE (Z912) GROUND CIRCUIT
1.
2. Measure the resistance between the (G161) Driver Door Lock Switch Mux circuit and the (Z912) Ground circuit in the Door Lock Switch connector.
Is the resistance below 20K Ohms?
Yes
- Repair the (G161) Driver Door Lock Switch Mux circuit for a short to the (Z912) Ground circuit.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test .
No
- Replace the Driver Door Module. Door Module - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test .
