APPLICABLE TO THE VEHICLE, USE VIP OR PERFORM A VIN SEARCH IN
TECHCONNECT. ALL REPAIRS ARE REIMBURSABLE WITHIN THE PROVISIONS OF

THE wiTECH SOFTWARE LEVEL MUST BE AT RELEASE 13.01 OR HIGHER TO
PERFORM THIS PROCEDURE.

SUBJECT:
Full Leather Wrapped Heated Steering Wheel Does Not Get Warm Enough

OVERVIEW:
This Bulletin involves reconfiguring the vehicle with the proper leather wrapped heated steering wheel configuration.

MODELS:

2013 (DS) 1500 Ram Pickup

NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles built before October 18. 2012 (MDH 1018XX) and equipped with Heated Steering Wheel (sales code NHS) and Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel (sales code SCV).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may experience heated, full leather wrapped steering wheel not warming up fully.

DIAGNOSIS:
Some vehicles may have left the plant with the improper vehicle configuration, resulting in full leather wrapped heated steering wheels not warming up fully.

If a customers VIN is listed in VIP or your RRT VIN list, perform the repair. For all other customers that describe the symptom/condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

1. Using wiTECH, reconfigure the vehicle. This routine is available under the 'Diagnostic Procedures' tab found on the home, 'Vehicle View', page of wiTECH.

2. Using wiTECH clear any DTCs which may have been set during the reconfiguration.

Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
