Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) - Description

DESCRIPTION

The tire pressure monitoring systems (TPM) available is a premium system and monitors each individual tire pressure. On the 2500 series premium systems there is a light load switch located on the instrument panel in the center stack.









The Premium TPM system used on the 1500 and 2500 series consists of tire pressure monitoring sensors attached to each road wheel (and spare if equipped with a sensor) valve stem (similar to the base system valve stem in the previous illustration above), a Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) module (3) located in the left front wheel well forward of the splash shield, an electronic display, an indicator lamp, and on some applications a Light Load switch located on the instrument panel center stack.
