Sliding Backlite - Installation

INSTALLATION

MANUAL





1. Slide the vent glass (3) upper edge into window frame (2) and insert the lower edge into the lower molding.

2. Position the upper run channel (1) into the window frame (2) and slide it into place.

3. Verify vent glass (3) operation.

Power

CREW/QUAD CAB






1. Clean off any old tape from under the cover (4) with isopropyl alcohol.





2. Position the glass (3) and connect the right side cable.

3. Slide the vent glass (3) upper edge into window frame (2) and insert the lower edge into the lower molding.

4. Connect the left side cable to the glass and secure the cable housing block into the lower glass channel.

5. Position the upper run channel (1) into the window frame (2) and slide it into place.





6. Wipe the surface under the cover (4) with promoter pad.
7. Connect the electric backlite flexible ribbon connector (1) and secure the cover (4) back onto the backlite frame.
8. Install the rear seats.

MEGA CAB






1. Clean off any old tape from under the cover (4) with isopropyl alcohol.





2. Position the glass (3) and connect the right side cable.

3. Slide the vent glass (3) upper edge into window frame (2) and insert the lower edge into the lower molding.

4. Connect the left side cable to the glass and secure the cable housing block into the lower glass channel.

5. Position the upper run channel (1) into the window frame (2) and slide it into place.





6. Wipe the surface under the cover (4) with promoter pad.
7. Connect the electric backlite flexible ribbon connector (1) and secure the cover (4) back onto the backlite frame.
8. Position the rear seats back.
