The following procedure will help facilitate the removal of the oil filter on the 1984 Colt turbo.

Removal Procedure

1. Raise vehicle up.



2. Remove mud guard in lower left front corner of engine compartment held by 3 bolts (refer to illustration)..
3. Using a filter wrench, remove oil filter and take it out downward.

IMPORTANT: REINSTALL MUD GUARD AFTER FILTER REPLACEMENT.
