Cylinder Head Assembly

CYLINDER HEAD





Tighten cylinder head bolts 1-12 in the sequence shown in using a three step tightening sequence:
a. First to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
b. Second to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
c. Third rotate an additional 90°.

After cylinder head bolts 1-12 have been tightened to specifications, install and tighten cylinder head tappet gallery bolts 13 - 20 in sequence shown to 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.).






Cylinder Head Cover Bolts 11 Nm (95 in. lbs.)
Cylinder Head Cover Baffle Bolts 6 (45 in. lbs.)

SURFACE VARIATION

Flatness 0.019 mm (0.00075 in.)
