Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC)

U0146-00-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH CENTRAL GATEWAY

- When Monitored:
Continuously when the ignition is on.

The battery voltage between 10.0 and 16.0 Volts.

Body Control Module (BCM) is configured correctly.

- Set Condition:
Bus messages not received from the Central Gateway for approximately two to five seconds.





VERIFY DTC IS ACTIVE
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read the active DTCs.

Does the scan tool display; U0146-00-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH CENTRAL GATEWAY as active?

Yes

- U0146 Perform the U0146-00 Lost Communication with Central Gateway diagnostic procedure.

No

- Stored Lost Communication DTCs Perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
