SUBJECT:
Driver's And Front Passenger's Window Have Auto Up Down Function But Only the Front Passenger Switch Has AUTO Printed On It.
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves removing and replacing the drivers' window switch.
MODELS:
2011 (LD) Charger
2011 (LX) 300
NOTE:
This bulletin applies to vehicles built between January 19, 2011 (MDH 0119XX) and January 20, 2011 (MDH 0120XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Driver's and front passenger's window have auto up/down function but only the front passenger switch has AUTO printed on it as illustrated in (Fig. 1).
DIAGNOSIS:
If the vehicle exhibits the above Symptom/Condition, perform the Repair Procedure.
PARTS REQUIRED:
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the old Window Switch. Refer to the procedures available in DealerConnect / TechCONNECT > Group 08 - Electrical > 8N - Power Systems > Power Windows > SWITCH, Power Window > Removal - REMOVAL.
2. Replace the Window Switch
3. Install the new Window Switch. Refer to the procedures available in DealerConnect / TechCONNECT > Group 08 - Electrical > 8N - Power Systems > Power Windows > SWITCH, Power Window > Installation - INSTALLATION.
4. Verify proper functioning of the Window Switch.
