Universal Transmitter - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: In addition to the Universal Transmitter operation the Electronic Overhead Module is responsible for some of the compass functions. Anytime the Electronic Overhead Module is replaced the compass variance must be set, and the manual compass calibration performed, Adjustments for more information.

1. Position the universal transmitter onto the overhead console assembly and install the retaining screws (2).
2. Install the overhead console assembly, Front Overhead Console - Installation.
3. Connect the battery negative cable.
4. Program the universal transmitter codes, (Refer to Electrical/Universal Transmitter/TRANSMITTER, Universal - Standard Procedure).
