B1009-1C-INTERNAL BATTERY VOLTAGE - CIRCUIT VOLTAGE OUT OF RANGE

- When Monitored:
When the ignition is cycled on.
- Set Condition:
The DTC will set if the Vehicle Tracking Module (VTM) detects that the internal battery is not able to charge properly or not connected or missing.
CHECK FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION
1. With the scan tool, erase the VTM DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from on to off, wait five seconds and then back to on.
3. With the scan tool, read the VTM DTCs.
Does the scan tool display: B1009-1C-INTERNAL BATTERY VOLTAGE - CIRCUIT VOLTAGE OUT OF RANGE as active?
Yes
- Replace the VTM internal battery. Vehicle Tracking Module - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
No
- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
