B1123-71
B1123-71-REAR WIPER - STUCK
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to the Wiring Information.
Theory of Operation
The Body Control Module (BCM) monitors the operation of the Rear Wiper Motor with a wiper park switch that is integral to the Wiper Motor. The Wiper Park Switch switches the signal circuit to ground when the wiper motor is in the park position. For additional information on the Rear Wiper operation, Rear.
- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.
Rear Wiper on.
- Set Condition:
The Body Control Module (BCM) does not detect any Rear Wiper Park Switch transitions for more than five seconds, while the Rear Wiper Motor current draw is above the normal threshold.
