Fuel Tank - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Install the fuel pump module.





2. Position the fuel tank on a suitable stand to be raised into the vehicle. Tighten the fuel tank strap bolts (2) to 35 Nm (26 ft.lbs.).





3. Install the fuel filler connector tube (5) onto the fuel tank (3).





4. Install the muffler (2) and resonator (3) Installation.

5. Lower the vehicle.




6. Connect the fuel lines and vapor lines.
7. Connect the fuel pump module electrical connector (4).
8. Install the access cover (1). Tighten screws (2).





9. Install the lower rear seat (1).
10. Fill tank with fuel and install fuel fill cap.
11. Connect the negative battery cable.
12. Run vehicle. Inspect for leaks.
