B1007-00-INTERNAL ERROR - USB UNAVAILABLE

- When Monitored:
With the ignition on.
- Set Condition:
This DTC will set if the USB bus goes into an overcurrent condition. The overcurrent condition can be caused by a fault on the USB bus or by connecting a USB device that requires more that 1.2 amps.
1. CHECK FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION
NOTE: Use a known good USB device to perform the following tests.
1. Using the scan tool, record and erase the CTM DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from on to off, wait five seconds and then back to on.
3. Connect a known good USB device into the USB port.
4. Using the scan tool, read the active CTM DTCs.
Does the scan tool display active: B1007-00-INTERNAL ERROR - USB UNAVAILABLE?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Test complete.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
2. CHECK THE CONNECTORS AND HARNESS
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the CTM harness connector.
3. Disconnect the USB port connector.
4. Inspect the connectors and harness between the USB port and the CTM.
Are there any issues with the harness or connectors?
Yes
- Repair or replace as needed.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
No
- Replace the Convergence Telematics Module.Convergence Telematics Module - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
