B1008-93-LOCK / UNLOCK BY SERVER - NO OPERATION

- When Monitored:
When the ignition is cycled on.

- Set Condition:
The DTC will set if the Vehicle Tracking Module (VTM) receives a Block request from the Vehicle Tracking Service Provider.





CHECK FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION

NOTE: If the Vehicle Tracking Service Provider has sent a Block request to the VTM, the vehicle will not start. The vehicle's owner must contact the Vehicle Tracking Service Provider and ask that an Unblock request be sent to the VTM. The vehicle must be Unblocked and able to start before performing this diagnostic procedure.

1. With the scan tool, erase the VTM DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from on to off, wait five seconds and then back to on.
3. With the scan tool, read the VTM DTCs.

Does the scan tool display: B1008-93- LOCK / UNLOCK BY SERVER - NO OPERATION as active?

Yes

- Replace the Vehicle Tracking Module. Vehicle Tracking Module - Removal.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.

No

- Test complete, the condition or conditions that originally set this DTC are not present at this time. Using the wiring diagrams as a guide, check all related splices and connectors for signs of water intrusion, corrosion, pushed out or bent terminals and correct pin tension.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Body Verification Test.
