Oil Pan: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION





The function of the oil pan is to contain the engine lubrication oil and is made from aluminium. The oil pan has a threaded oil drainage opening and a threaded port for an oil viscosity sensor. The oil pan is sealed to the engine block using Mopar(R) Engine RTV GEN II Sealant.
