With Manual Transmission
WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION
1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
3. Remove the belly pan Belly Pan - Removal.
4. Drain the engine oil Service and Repair.
5. Remove the viscosity sensor (2) Oil Viscosity Sensor - Removal.
6. Remove the maniverter (4) Exhaust Manifold - Removal.
7. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
8. Remove the rear engine mount bracket bolt (3) and nut (6).
9. Remove two bolts (2 and 4) and remove the rear engine mount bracket (5).
10. Remove two bolts (2) and the blocker plate (1) from the oil pan.
11. Remove the two bolts (1) from the flywheel dust cover.
NOTE: The flywheel dust cover is bolted to the oil pan and cannot be removed at this time.
12. Remove the two lower transmission bell housing bolts (3).
13. Remove fourteen bolts (1), two nuts and two studs (2) from the flange of the oil pan.
14. Using the four indicated pry points, carefully remove the oil pan and flywheel dust cover.
15. Remove the bolt (1) and the flywheel dust cover (2) from the oil pan.
16. Remove all residual sealant (1) from the oil pan, engine block, oil pump and rear seal retainer Procedures.
