Blower Motor - Description

DESCRIPTION





The blower motor is located on the left side of the HVAC housing and consists of a squirrel type blower wheel (3), connected to a 12 volt Direct Current (DC) motor (1) with an integral wire connector receptacle (2). The blower motor is sealed within a plastic housing (4) that has three mounting provisions (5) and an air passage (6) to help cool the motor when in operation.

The blower motor can be accessed for service from underneath the instrument panel.
