License Plate Lamp - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.




2. Use a small screwdriver inserted into the notch at one end of the license plate lamp (3) lens on the underside of the liftgate light bar and handle unit (1) to release the latch tab (2) that secures the lamp in the light bar receptacle.
3. Pull the lamp down from the light bar far enough to access and disconnect the light bar wire harness connector from the connector receptacle on the top of the lamp housing.
4. Remove the lamp from the vehicle.
