Axle Drive Shaft Seal - Installation

INSTALLATION

Special Tools:










1. Clean axle shaft seal bores.
2. Install the left side axle seal using Seal Installer (10284) (2) and Handle (C-4171) (1).
3. Tap seal into position until seated against transaxle case.





4. Install the right side axle seal using Seal Installer (10284) (2) and Handle (C-4171) (1).
5. Tap seal into position until seated against transaxle case.
6. Install axle shaft.
7. Check transaxle fluid level and adjust as necessary Service and Repair.
