Gearshift Mechanism - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Ensure that the transaxle is in neutral prior to the start of this procedure.
2. Detach gear shift boot from console.

3. Remove the lower instrument panel bezel Instrument Panel Lower Bezel - Removal.





4. Disconnect the selector cable (1) and the shift cable (2) from the shifter assembly.





5. Remove the cable retention clips (1) from the shifter assembly.





6. Remove the nuts and bolt.
7. Remove the shifter assembly.
