Horn: Service and Repair

All Aerostar horn assemblies are mounted in the engine compartment. The standard low pitch horn is mounted on the RH fender apron. The optional high pitch horn is mounted on the RH fender apron above the standard horn.

Disconnect the horn wire from the terminal and remove the mounting bolt. When installing a horn and bracket assembly, tighten the mounting bolt to 11-16 Nm (8-11 ft-lb).
