LIGHT TRUCK 1986-87 AEROSTAR

The lens of the footwell courtesy lamp may fallout. The retention of the lens in the lamp body is a snap-in fit. When the ambient temperature and humidity are extremely high, the lamp body and lens may deform slightly, causing the snap-in to let go.

When the lens is available and not damaged, it can be glued on using Adhesive Kit D7AZ-19554-C. Apply one drop of glue to the two retaining tabs on the lens and install into lamp body. Read and follow the cautions listed for the glue use. When the lens is not available, the lamp assembly must be replaced.
