(5)Transmission Oil Pan-to-Case Torque Specification

Effective immediately, the oil pan-to-case fastener torque on A4LD transmission models is revised from 5-10 ft.lbs. (6.8-13.6 N-m) to 8-10 ft.lbs. (10.8-13.6 N-m). This new 8-10 ft.lbs. oil pan fastener torque specification applies to all A4LD transmissions regardless of transmission case type and will ensure a proper oil pan-to-case seal when service is performed.
