LIGHT TRUCK 1986-87 AEROSTAR

Paint flaking off the sliding door center track may be caused by poor paint adhesion to the surface of the center track and a sharp edge on the center door hinge assembly. To correct this, install a new design center track (E79Z-1125004-A) and a center door hinge assembly (E69Z-1126800-C). Refer to the Aerostar Shop Manual, Section 72-22 for the Service procedure.

NOTE: The new replacement center track may be (11.5 mm) longer than the original track. For those vehicles, the center filler end (E69Z- 11262B50-B) must also be replaced.
