Certain model vehicles have a significant weight change on the front axle between manufacture by Ford and placement into service. This occurs when incomplete vehicles are completed by a body company or when equipment is added to a complete vehicle (i.e., winches, plows, tool boxes, etc.). This weight change can affect toe setting so these vehicles require that toe be reset.

The tag shown in Figure 25 is attached to the steering column of vehicles originally built with the intent to add additional equipment. These vehicles require toe reset.
