ISSUE: The voltmeter (charge indicator) may read on the high side during cold weather (below 32~F/0~C) or during initial engine start-up. The pointer (indicator) may be above the last white mark (15 volts), but below the first red mark (16 volts). Refer to Figure 16. These higher readings occur when the charging system is operating at its maximum output.
ACTION: These readings are normal and no corrective action is required.
