High Pressure Pump
The high pressure fuel pump is frame mounted and can be accessed from under the vehicle. The fuel pump assembly is retained to the frame with three attaching bolts. Before removing the fuel pump, relieve fuel system pressure using either the tool on the fuel diagnostic valve or by opening the electrical circuit to the fuel pump and cranking the engine for a minimum of 20 seconds.
Low Pressure Pump
The low pressure fuel pump is mounted within the fuel tank and may require fuel tank removal for fuel pump service.
