Four Wheel Drive Selector Switch: Description and Operation

The push-button control is located in an overhead console. The overhead console display graphics include a side view silhouette of the vehicle with two rectangular push-buttons for fingertip shift control. The 4X4 push-button, located below the vehicle silhouette, selects either 2-High or 4-High position. The push-button light will illuminate when the 4-High position is engaged. The Low range push-button, located above the vehicle silhouette, is used to select and indicate the 4-Low position. The push-button light will flash if an improper shift is made and will illuminate when the 4-Low position is engaged.
