This disc brake, Fig. 2, is of the sliding caliper design with two pistons on one side of the rotor. The caliper, which slides on the support assembly, is retained by a key and spring. A key retaining screw holds the key and spring in position. Each caliper contains one brake shoe and lining assembly on each side of the rotor. The shoes, which slide on the caliper bridge, are not identical. One anti-rattle clip is used on both shoes. The caliper contains two pistons. The pistons and cylinder bores are protected by boot seals fitted to a groove in the piston and a groove in the cylinder housing.
