Oil Level Warning Indicator: Description and Operation

This system is used to indicate a low engine oil level condition. The lamp will be illuminated during engine starting. If oil level is sufficient, the lamp will go off when engine is operating. If oil level is low the lamp will remain on until engine oil is added and the ignition switch is placed in the Off position. The module may take a few minutes to reset. If the engine is started during this period, the last recorded reading will be displayed.
