1986 - 87

1. Remove carburetor from engine.
2. With carburetor in the inverted position, center punch throttle body approximately 5/16 inch from idle mixture screw opening, Fig. 15.
3. Using a No. 30 drill bit, drill approximately 1/16 inch into throttle body, then tilt drill to a 60 degree angle and continue drill until drill bit contacts tamper resistance plug.
4. Using a 1/8 diameter punch, carefully tap out tamper resistance plugs.
5. Install carburetor on engine and perform idle mixture adjustment. After completing adjustment, install replacement plugs.
