Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair
E-100---3501. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove heater, and if equipped, air conditioner control knobs.
3. Remove cigarette lighter, if equipped.
4. Remove radio knobs and discs from control shafts.
5. On models equipped with cigarette lighter, snap out name plate from right side of panel and remove the one accessible finish panel attaching bolt.
6. On all models, remove 5 finish panel attaching bolts and the finish panel.
7. Pry out cluster panel at two locations using a screwdriver.
8. Disconnect antenna and speaker leads from radio.
9. Remove 4 radio-to-instrument panel attaching screws and slide radio out of panel.
10. Disconnect power, speaker and antenna leads from radio and remove radio from vehicle.
11. Remove radio mounting plate and the radio rear support nut and washer.
12. Reverse procedure to install.
