LIGHT TRUCK: 1987 F SERIES

ISSUE: The gear ratios, for the ZF 5-speed transmission, are not the same as the gear ratios for the T19 transmission. The ZF 5-speed transmission replaced the T19 transmission in production mid-1987.

ACTION: The following gear ratio comparison chart shows the ratios by engine, transmission and gear.
