PROBLEM Loose fitting valve in valve body (Undersize diameter)

SOLUTION:




When checking valves in the A4LD valve body, the converter clutch TV modulator valve may fit loose in its bore.

To determine if the valve is supposed to be undersized, install valve in valve body, place the separator plate on the valve body. If the valve is loose fitting, there should NOT be an orifice in the separator plate feeding fluid to the rear of the valve.
