LIGHT TRUCK: 1989-90 BRONCO II, RANGER


ISSUE: The grille assembly is attached to the headlamp assembly with a plastic rivet. The plastic rivet cannot be reused. The affected vehicles are 1989-90 Ranger/Bronco II units except those equipped with the STX option.

ACTION: Whenever service is required, re-attach the grille to the headlamp assembly with a screw and washer assembly (N801603-S100). If the headlamp assembly does not have an attached nut, use a spring nut (N802538-S100).

1. Use a screwdriver to remove the plastic rivet.

2. Hold the nut in place by hand.

3. Install the screw.
