ISSUE:
The Loctite E40D Adhesive Repair Kit (# 19857), previously described in TSB Article 93-10-8, contains an Ozone Depleting Chemical (ODC) and is under government regulations to restrict sales.

The U.S. Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) included legislation that phases out the manufacturing and use of ODCS. Many aerosols and some non-aerosol specialty chemical products contain ODCS.

The Loctite Primer "N" 764-06, included in the E40D Adhesive Repair Kit (# 19857), contains 1, 1, 1 Trichloroethane. Due to CAAA restrictions there may be insufficient stock of this product.
