Four Wheel Drive Selector Switch: Description and Operation

The push-button control located in the instrument panel, consists of two rectangular push-buttons for finger tip shift control. The 4X4 push-button selects either 2-High or 4-High position. The push-button light will illuminate when the 4-High position is engaged. The Low range push-button is used to select and indicate the 4-Low position. The push-button light will flash if an improper shift is made and will illuminate when the 4-Low position is engaged.
