Fuel Return System - Redesigned
90ford36 FUEL RETURN SYSTEM - 7.3L - REDESIGNED - BEGINNING WITH ENGINE SERIAL NO. 775830Article No. 90-23-13
LIGHT TRUCK: 1990 E-250, E-350, F SUPER DUTY, F-250, F-350
ISSUE: The fuel return system has been redesigned to simplify routing and reduce the number of components used.
ACTION: If service is required, use the following procedure to install the fuel return hose.
^ The revised system eliminates the use of the steel fuel return tube assembly and related components.
^ It replaces a brazed fuel return junction fitting with a one-piece tee.
^ The fuel return hose sizes have been increased from 3/16" to 1/4" inside diameter.
^ The larger I.D. return hose requires a revised combination fuel filter, heater and water separator.
