^ GENERATORS - LEECE-NEVILLE 165 AMP - OUTPUT DECREASES DUE TO INSUFFICIENT HEAT REJECTION CAPABILITY

LIGHT TRUCK:
1988-94 E-350, F-350

ISSUE:
Generator function may decrease in some vehicles equipped with 165 amp Leece-Neville generators due to insufficient heat rejection.

ACTION:
Install a new rectifier assembly with improved heat rejection capability. Refer to the 1994 Econoline, F-150, F-250, F-350, Bronco, F-Super Duty Body/Chassis Service Manual, Section 14-02B-6, Steps 1-12 to remove the old rectifier assemblies. To install the new rectifier assemblies, follow Steps 3-7 plus Step 11, pages 14-12B-6 and 7.
