Assembly

Differential Bearing Installation:

1. Install differential bearings on the case hubs using Differential Bearing Cone Replacer, D81T-4221-A.

NOTE: Press against the bearing cone only.

2. Press the ring gear and excitor ring onto the differential case, and install the attaching bolts. Tighten the bolts to 135-162 Nm (100-120 ft-lbs).

CAUTION: Before performing this Step, refer to ring gear/excitor ring installation procedures.
