Clearing Continuous Memory

CAUTION: Do not disconnect the negative battery terminal to clear continuous memory. This will erase Keep Alive Memory (KAM) which will result in driveability concerns.

1. Run the Key On, Engine Off (KOEO) self test.

2. When the DTCs begin to be displayed, deactivate self test by following scan tool manufacturers instructions.

3. Continuous memory should be erased from the PCM.
