ISSUE:
A lack of power or a no start condition may be diagnosed as an exhaust restriction caused by a plugged catalytic converter and/or muffler. Exhaust restriction is usually the end result of abnormal engine operation. A thorough investigation is necessary to reveal the root cause of the restriction.

ACTION:
Isolate and pinpoint the exact source of a restricted exhaust system to ensure a complete repair. Separate and confirm your diagnosis to one or more of the following areas.

^ Fuel/Air System

^ Emission Control System
