^ NO CRANK - 4.9L - IGNITION SWITCH CONNECTOR LOOSE
^ WIRING - IGNITION SWITCH CONNECTOR LOOSE FROM WIRE TERMINAL - VEHICLES WITH 4.9L ENGINE
LIGHT TRUCK:
1992 ECONOLINE
ISSUE:
A no crank condition may occur because the yellow wire (circuit # 37) on the ignition switch connector becomes loose from the wire terminal in the 14A200 wire assembly. The open circuit prevents battery voltage from completing the connection to start the engine.
ACTION:
Install new beryllium wire terminals which are more secure under ignition switch wiring conditions.
