1992 E-250, E-350, F SUPER DUTY, F-250, F-350, F-47, F-59



ISSUE:
The oil/filter cooler header drain plug and tap have been eliminated. Elimination of the plug and tap prevents any chance of partial coolant drainage that could occur only when the the oil filter/cooler drain plug is removed to drain the crankcase.

ACTION:
Drain the engine coolant using the right and left crankcase drain plugs.









The oil filter/cooler drain plug that was eliminated is shown in Figure 1. Locations of the drain plugs used when draining the engine coolant can be referenced in Figure 2.

^ F-SERIES S/N 887732 AND ABOVE
